Here it comes...

Ok, I know it is early, but you have to start sometime... Here come the Holidays! We put out our newest fused glass goodies in beautiful holiday-inspired prints. Candles, vases, and trays are all decorated in brilliant reds and greens, and you have to smell the candles, they are fabulous! So, we are starting small, but will eventually bring out over seven themed Christmas trees and have even set aside November 20th as our Holiday open house... keep checking back for more details later!

It is getting chilly!

Here comes the chilly fall season! Here are some amazing handmade wool hats in all kinds of different styles for adults and kids made from a co-op of women in the Himalayas. From pom-poms to ladybug ear muffs, there is a hat for everyone to keep warm and toasty. A great cause and a great product!

Delightful wool

New, just in, boiled wool scarves, shawls, and vests! Handmade and designed by a lady and her team up north, these are some beautiful works of art. Double-sided and very versatile, these will make your fall wardrobe something special! I couldn't help showing you some of our newest velvet pumpkins too, in vibrant oranges, harvesty browns, hot corals, and cool blues, you had better hurry in before they are all gone!

Happy Birthday Mary!

I meant to do this post yesterday, on Mary's birthday, but it was so crazy I never got around to it! So, one day late... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY!!! We all love you and Farmhand Feed would be nothing without you! You are such an amazing person, so talented, and very inspirational. I don't mean to brag, well, maybe I do... but I have the best mother a girl could ask for! I am glad we are best friends and we have a ton of fun together! I thought I would share with all the blog world what I made for my sweet mother on her birthday: angel wings made from old tattered bibles that had fallen into disrepair with a true inspirational word, "blessings," to remind us how blessed we are to have each other!

Mason jars!

If you think mason jars are just for jams and preserves, think again! We have mason jars that are 2.5 inches tall and slip onto a christmas lights for putting into garlands and wreathes, or make them into mini vases for flowers and greenery! If that isn't enough, we have mason jar salt and pepper containers, quart and pint hanging jars that look great with vintage photographs or candles in them, giant green glass jars and green glass cloches in many sizes.

The many colors of Fall...

Fall is such a rich tapestry of colors and smells. Antiqued copper pumpkins and candle holders, new fall foliage in glittery metalics, and the new fall Tyler candle scents are all a sensory overload! We love fall around here at Farmhand, there is always something to excite your senses and soothe your troubles. Come ask Mary which fall branches are her favorite and pick your Tyler scent!
