Well all the signs are down and the building is painted, inside and out.I sold the building the end of March and the new family is so busy making it their own style.  The end of an era as Farmhand Feed & Home Co is put to rest.We welcome the new feedstore-  Coast Fork Feed that will open in two weeks.  I miss (but still see) some customers but am enjoying my "retirement.  We have moved our antique business into our new space at Monticello in Portland and sales have been brisk because of the Garden Show going on now.  You can visit our blog at www.repentantiques.blogspot.com to keep up with what we are doing.  Soon we will list this wonderful 108 year old Victorian house to sell it and move up outside Portland. We have found some beautiful areas of peace and quiet. So the next chapter opens for me....exciting!  Sara has made some Repent cards to hand out and I will make sure some of them get to the new feed store so you can stay in touch with us. She also just got Honors for the OSU business winter term. Our Last Sale Day

It is time - our Last Sale Day is this Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 to 4:00 with 70% Off everything. The very last of the merchandise has been put out so there are new things to see and save on.  Then we offically close the doors for the last time.  It was an amazing 13 years. I still remembered that October day we opened - I was so nervous that no one would come. But oh you came and came. It was not a cake walk opening in such a small town and their were lots of stressful times. But the good times outlived the bad and we made lots of friends. My two children learned so much from the days they worked along with me. Sara is still here amazing me with her talent and energy. So from my heart - thank you for the support and kind words and food and flowers and cards over these years. But to whomever left those two full grown roosters on our doorstop - grow up and deal with it!  Amazing is what you made Farmhand Feed & Home Co.  You will remain a big part of my life. Come visit us at Monticello Antique Marketplace in Portland (take exit 20 off of I-205 onto Stark and go down a few blocks. Monticello is on your right on the corner of 86th) - we would love to see you.

Wanted to let you know that our 60% OFF sales are still going strong - we are the ones tired. Phew - I thought retirement was supposed to be quiet. Each week we march up and down those crazy upstairs storage stairs about 200 times to bring down more merchandise to sell to you for 60% OFF. So our next sale will be Saturday February 9th from 10:00 to 4:00. Then we will march up and down those stairs again and have more sales on February 23rd from 10:00 to 4:00. Yes you read it right - 60% off!  The sale is set for Saturday, January 5 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  We have been busy bringing down new merchandise from our upstairs storage and getting some furniture ready to sell.  So come see us Saturday for some great deals.  All of the pet supplies are now 60% off too.  If you cannot make it this Saturday we will also be open next Saturday too.
