Childhood memories of Christmas past. We all have them and they seem to be what we strive to re-create for ourselves and our loved ones. Well, here is one of my good memories - Dewey's Bakery in Winston-Salem, N.C.. I remember the white tile floor and the Moravian sugar bread and the paper thin ginger cookies. And now we can sell them because Dewey's started The Salem Baking Co. and still uses the original recipes from the Old Salem Moravians. So please come in for a sample of Ginger Spice cookies, sugar cookies or their cheese straws. And start your own good Deweys memory. Farmhand Mary
