Finish up your garden!

We just finished putting away a gigantic plant order! The Lady Margaret Red Passionflowers are practically disapearing as fast as we put them out, so come down and snag yourself one! Yes, they are just starting to bloom! The hibiscus plants are starting to greet us with beautiful, tropical flowers in sunset colors and our tomatoes, which are on sale for only $1.50, are covered in little baby tomatoes! We have cantalopes, lettuces, brocolli, cabbages, herbs, eggplant, hot peppers, bell peppers, and so much more! For those who have their garden complete, there are always those flower beds that need something! Our petunias look amazing, the dahlias come in all different colors, the million bells are thriving, just come look into our flower greenhouse, you are sure to find something you can't live without!

New Light Garden

Wow, these vases make quite an impact! Designed especially for containing Light Garden lights, they look even better when you put a string of christmas lights in the vase and then top it off with a set of natural pussy willow lights or willow lights! We are expecting another huge shipment sometime in July with some of their new designs, so keep watching! We stocked back up on the natural pussy willow lights as well as some of their orchids, calla lillies, and battery operated designs, so come down and see what's new!

The new house on the block...

Come see the new birdhouses and bird feeders we just got in! One is even a covered bridge feeder with stonework on the bottom (in above pictures)! They are built with exterior grade ply-board and western red cedar and finished with non-toxic paint. The perfect gift for someone who lives in the covered bridge capitol!

We also got in Plant Nannies - a blown glass globe that you fill with water and insert in the plant. It waters itself as it needs water.

The pink flamingo yard "birds" speak for themselves - the epitome of all-American "kitsch." Always fun....

So with the return of the sun let's all get outside and garden and enjoy. Remember, we have the best locally grown plants. From dark red poppies to Baptista (false indigo) to Stevia (naturally sweet leaves). Enjoy the weekend.

Hand Hooked Masterpieces!

This is a line we have carried for a few years, but plan to carry forever! This is a small company dedicated to working with fibers and amazing designs! They hand-hook all of their pillows, stools, chair mats, floor runners, and floor rugs. From chickens, to fish, to skiing, their designs look great not just in a lakeside cabin, but also your in-town home! Come on in and see what seperates these decorative pillows and rugs from the rest!

When the cows come home?

I've been doing retail for a long time and you would think by now I would really know what was going to sell. Sometimes I even get surprised by what you all "have to have!" Case in point is the cow prints for $40.00. They literally walked out of here. And it wasn't just our rural customers (they actually have real cows) that wanted them, two customers from Portland stopped in and they had to have cows in their lofts! A woman from Hawaii mailed herself one for her beachfront condo! So the cows are back in - come get yours and let's keep them cows walking....

We also got in a turn of the century work apron in a soft grey stripe with mother of pearl buttons. I can't imagine "working" in it but I sure love the apron. Then Sara made a back door organizer out of an old bakery tray. It has a mail slot, a bill slot, a shopping list and a clipboard. A most unusual piece for $45.00.
We are waiting for the best birdhouses ever to arrive. One is even a white covered bridge with real pebbles along the base. We will post pictures soon. They can be used outside too.
