Yummy Chocolate

When you are in desperate need of a good chocolate treat, and I don't mean those yucky cheap candy bars you can get for under a dollar,  come try Hammonds candy bars. With flavors like sea salt caramel, smores, and peanut butter cup, seriously, how could you go wrong? Made in the USA, this is some quality candy. They even have handmade lollipops and the ever popular caramel and marshmallow Mitchell's Sweets.

Plants!

We have been planting up all sorts of containers, even mailboxes, around here lately! There are even some lovely staghorn ferns and huge green ferns tucked around the store. The ever popular iron cross begonias are in the store as well!

Gardening

We got in some fun new gardening goodies yesterday! Great gardener's hats in two different colors, our ever popular pink flamingo sets, gardening related books, insecticidal soap spray, rooting horomone,  very shiny stainless steel garden orbs that will even float, and I'm sure I'm leaving things out there was just so much!

Vintage Stamp Holder Vases

Reuse and repurpose seems to strike a good cord with us.  So we took a vintage rubber stamp holder and added vintage test tubes to make a fun vase. Add water and go for a search in your yard with a pair of snips.  You will be delighted with what you find this time of year as the gardens are full of daily surprises and growth.  So come in and buy yourself an unusual vase or get one for Mother's Day.

Overflowing with plants

We had to break out the carts we usually bring out in July to hold our overflowing amount of plants the past few days! We have a huge variety of geraniums,  beautiful coleus, and our veggie area is full to the brim! The sun is supposed to be out this weekend, so come down and get some plants and then head out into your yards and soak up that sun!

Hanging Baskets

We got in a huge load of plants and hanging baskets over the past few days...come on sun!!! I'm so excited over the tumbling tom tomato plants in hanging baskets! Works great for small spaces and those of us who only have porches and no room for gardens in the yard! The hanging baskets make great gifts for Mother's day, or your lovely wife who needs a pick me up! (Who am I kidding, all you wives better just come in and buy your own...I'm sure your husbands aren't checking our blog!)  :)

Rain Chains

Beautiful rain chains are in! We have two styles to choose from, the tulip and the umbrella. There is an optional drip bowl that can be purchased to keep the water running down the chain from removing soil down below. The tulip chain is $85, the umbrella chain is $130 and the bowl is $75. Both chains are six feet long.

Sweet Spring

We got in a lovely new line of floral and bird printed containers and signs. The littlest containers have handles and look sweet planted with a violet or holding a candle or stack of cookies for a little gift! We mixed in some of the beautiful glass vases we have in stock to catch the light!
